Rudy Mendez, better known as Cale One of the famed Los Angeles based K2S crew is a 20 year veteran of graffiti art and an accomplished illustrator, graphic and fine artist. Raised in South Los Angeles, Cale has been a part of some of the most recognized graffiti productions, public art works and, as a Cale is also recognized in the city of Long Beach as a creative and energetic freelance artist who's list of clients includes The Long Beach Convention Center, Westech Industries, The Port of Long Beach, Critical Mass Communications and Sulivan & Covenant.

In 1995, Cale began working along side muralist Richard Wyatt assisting in the creation of such public art murals as the Union Station East Portal Project, the Western/Wilshire Red Line Station Project, The Los Angeles Library Branch Project, the St. Vincent's Hospital Mural Project and The Little Church in the Desert Project in 29 Palms, California.

During his tenure with Warner Brothers Studios Cale worked on scenery for movies such as Lemony Snicket - A Series of Unfortunate Events, Spiderman 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, The 40 Year Old Virgin, The Santa Claus 2War of the Worlds and also for the television shows Without a TraceBoston Public, Joey and The War At Home. The art director for Without a Trace recognized Cale for his ability to replicate various styles of graffiti and was called upon to dress their sets on several occasions. Most recently Cale has provided artwork for the CBS show NCIS.

In the graffiti art community, Cale is recognized for his ability to blend caricature with realism which has created a signature style admired by both young and veteran graffiti artists alike. Currently, Cale is working with various clothing companies, MMA promotion companies but continues to paint murals and build a versatile body of personal work.
